炭の入った専用焜炉でしゃぶしゃぶ。火力も強く、あっという間に火が通る。
トマトサラダ、カニ肉とアスパラ入りの豆腐も美味しかった。ゴマだれにはすりおろしニンニク、ポン酢には紅葉おろし。肉はしっかりサシの入った霜降り和牛。野菜、締めの中華麺も美味しく頂いた。デザートはゆずシャーベット。
ただし、伝統的しゃぶしゃぶ専用鍋には少々不満。出汁のラインが目線よりも高く、中を除くことはほぼ出来ない。ドーナツ状のお湯スペースも狭く、断面の大きな肉を投入する時、鍋肌にこびりついてしまう。同行者と一緒に鍋を楽しむという感じではない。
伝統的しゃぶしゃぶ店ならではの由緒正しい鍋だとは思うが、時代に合わせてもう少し低くするとか、湯の表面積が広くなるような進化があっても良いのではと思った。
