1950年創業の銀座老舗フレンチレストラン「エスコフィエエ」。
銀座のど真ん中にありながら玄関は吹き抜け、螺旋階段を上がると二階レストランへ、という贅沢な造り。
クラシック音楽が流れる店内はドラマにでも出てきそうな空間で荘厳な雰囲気を醸しだしています。
そんな老舗レストランが一日限定10食席の予約は不可！の「ハンバーグランチ」2500円をスタートと聞いて早速お伺い。
10年ほど前に伺ったことがあるので入店する際に抵抗はありませんでしたが、初めて行かれる方はちょっと緊張されるかも。。

別でコーヒーか紅茶500円、デセール500円で追加可。
リーフ野菜にラディッシュ。ミニトマト、それにエディブルフラワー。ヴィネグレットソースで爽やかに仕上げサラダからして美しく品格があります。
お目当てのハンバーグは凛とした佇まい。
ガルニチュールは二色のビーツにフィレンツェ茄子とポテトポワローに牛蒡のピューレ。
ハンバーグは良く捏ねてあるふんわりタイプで、カットすると肉汁ソースが溢れだすぐらいジューシーな仕上がり。
ソースは濃厚なデミグラスソースでライスとの相性抜群。
老舗のフレンチレストランがハンバーグを作るとこんなにも素晴らしい高貴な一品になるんだわとうっとりせざるを得ないぐらい美味しく。
お茶とデセールも追加したかったのですが、時間切れ。
因みにこの日は常連と思しきゲストの方が多く、ハンバーグを予約なしでいただいているのはおそらく私一人。
とはいえ一度はこちらに伺ってレストラン体験を積む価値があるかと。入るだけでも価値があるフレンチレストラン、そうそうないかと。
