ビルの路地裏で見つけ、その門構えに若干日和ったものの、良い香りがしたので思い切って入店。
ランチ限定のうな丼(2750円)をいただく。
まずうなぎがちゃんと美味い。
ふっくら肉厚で柔らかく、良い感じに脂がのっている。
うなぎの良さを引き出すために、丁寧に焼き上げられていた。
備長炭でじっくり焼くので、今まで行ったことのある鰻屋と比べ、少し時間はかかる感じはするけど、待つ価値あり。
骨も全然気にならないし、鰻の大きさも申し分ない。基本的に鰻重も含めてニホンウナギを使用しているらしい。
(他の方の投稿を見ると鰻重との違いは小鉢の前菜がついてるかついてないかなのかしら)
日によっては天然うなぎもあるとのこと。
ぜひ今度天然がある日に行ってみたい。
お米のボリュームもなかなかで食べ応えがあり。
タレも鰻のそのものの良さを邪魔しない上に、ちゃんと良さを引き出してくれる濃度で、ちょうどいい感じに甘じょっぱい感じがツボだった。
ご飯にもちゃんと染みているのがさらに良い。
うなぎの付け合わせと言えば、奈良漬が定番のイメージだけど、大根ときゅうりのお新香と肝吸いがついていた。肝吸いはダシがしっかり効いていて、優しいお味でホッとする。
どちらもさっぱりしていて、鰻の合間に食べることでコントラストがついて良い。
かなり満足感の高い内容だった。
