職場の同期入社のメンバーでの定期的な昼宴会で、幹事さんが選んだのが銀座の一等地で全席個室という高級和食店『銀座 竹の庵 5丁目本店』でした。
みゆき通りと西五番街の交差点から少し晴海通り寄りに入った西五番街ビルの４Fという一等地なので、お高いんじゃないかと思ったら、なんと4200円コースというリーズナブルな料金だというので驚きました。
エレベーターを降りると、暗めの照明で店名の竹を多用した落ち着いた雰囲気で、しかも全室が個室というから二度びっくりです。
案内された部屋は縦長で12席で、間仕切りがしっかりしているので他のお客さんを気にせずに話が出来ます。
予約したのは『ランチタイム個室確約！ランチ送別会・歓迎会・接待【ランチ限定会席】5,000円→4,200円』というお得なコースです。
コース内容は、
【先付】岩手産濃厚豆乳の手作りよせ豆富とピスタチオ豆富
【吸物替】若鶏卵の茶わん蒸し～ミネストローネ風～

料理は10分～20分間隔でテンポよく出てきた、早過ぎず遅すぎずで丁度2時間でぴったり食べ終えるペースでした。
味も結構洗練されていて、割烹料理と創作料理の間くらいの面白い料理なので、ありきたりのコース料理とは違って飽きずにいただけました。
呑み放題ではないので、各自好みの飲み物をいただきました存分に盛り上がったので、一人6500円程度の払いになりましたが、銀座で個室でこの料金なら安いと思います。
特に日本酒を注文すると、オリジナルのグラスで呑ませてくれました。
燕三条の職人が手造りした錫と銅を素材にしていて、熱伝導率が高いので、グラスを持つとダイレクトに冷酒の冷たさが手のひらに伝わってきます。
また飲み口の薄さも0.7ミリと薄張りグラス並みなので口当たりが良い。
こんなにグラスにこだわる店なら料理も美味しいのも納得でした。
