土曜日午後、代々木上原と霞ヶ関で面倒な用事を済ませ、気分転換に日比谷、有楽町を経て京橋まで歩く。職場が丸の内にあった頃には国鉄の高架下と鍛冶橋交差点を通り、ちょくちょく此方に遅めのランチに訪ねたものである。
15時。綺麗なカウンターに僅かな残席を認め入店。特みそラーメン（背脂なし）とウォーキング効果を抹殺する瓶ビール。
相変わらず美味しい。札幌スタイルとは違う東京風のキリリと輪郭の立った味噌。かなり硬めの麺にあう。この日は止めておいたが、デスクワークで神経が疲弊した人の本能に訴え掛けるように白飯と相性が良い。
なお、此方は1997年に破綻した山一証券出身の方が創業者である。昨年から今年にかけて業務都合で金融機関の破綻処理について読み漁った身としては、鮮烈な味噌が平成金融危機の賜物だと中々な趣を看取するのである。
