肉を食べると気分が上がる。なぜだろう。単に旨いとかいうレベルではなく、本能の欲望を満たすような気持になる。人類は誕生から数百万年狩猟採集により生活していた。食べられるときに食べる。食べられない時は飢えて苦しむ。大型動物を仕留めたときはコミュニティーは大いに興奮したことだろう。DNAに刻まれた肉に対する憧れは高々1万年程度の農耕生活を経たくらいでは切り替えることが出来ない。
おそらくあと数百万年もすれば、ベジタリアンが当たり前の生活に切り替わるだろうが・・・
さて、そんなことはさておいて、『WAGYU でですけ』で存分に旨い肉を食べた。予約したコースは以下の通り。
