銀座駅から歩いて2分程の雑居ビルの地下1階にある『赤から 銀座5丁目店』。
2003年に名古屋でオープンし、現在全国に店舗を展開する鍋料理の人気店である。
店の人気メニューは赤から鍋。特製の味噌と、唐辛子など10種類以上のスパイスをブレンドした辛めのスープの鍋。
具材は、牛ホルモンやつくね、豚バラ、油揚、豆腐、ニラなどが入っている。
辛さも0番～10番の11段階から辛さを選べる。
今夜は歌舞伎を観劇した後に外が寒かったので、近くにある『赤から』に初めて立ち寄り、名古屋名物赤から鍋を味わった。
