A restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seasonal ingredients at prices unheard of for Ginza, with a charming owner
Contrary to the interior and exterior reminiscent of a high-end Sushi restaurant, Sushidokoro Shin is a welcoming place where you can drop in at any time, which reflects the owner's personality. After |
A Sushi in Ginza that my ex-boss took me to. It was full with only 7 seats at the counter. We had 9 appetizers and 5 rolls of Sushi. If you don't say "stop" they just keep coming. I was so full I was practically bursting at the searing. The chef was friendly and a good talker, and all the food was delicious. It was a great restaurant. The crab and flying fish roe dish that came out first was so good, with the combination of the crab's umami, the firm meat, the popping of the flying fish roe, and the flavor of the sesame seeds. I was so reluctant to finish it that I nibbled on it until the very end. The seared mackerel was also very good, with the sweetness of the coarse salt and yuzu pepper bringing out the juicy, fatty meat. The roasted aroma and complex taste stimulated my taste buds. It was so delicious! The milt was also so fresh. One was so big that it melted in my mouth. I loved it! The tuna skewers I ate for the first time were grilled from a special part of the fish, and it was a taste I'd never tried before. It was completely different from the tuna I'd known before. This one was also fatty, but not heavy, and I'd like to eat it again. The monkfish liver was topped with vinegared miso, and the sweet and sour flavors harmonize with the rich liver, making this a wonderful combination. Needless to say, the sake just kept going down... It was a very delicious and enjoyable time.
