2020年8月17日（月）昼食。
銀座三丁目、昭和通りの東側のランチ。マガジンハウスの目の前、第一厚生館ビルという建物の1階の中華。定番定食が10種類、定番セットが5種類あって、定番定食の7の豚肉とニンニクの芽の炒め（880円）を頼んだ。
ほどなく出てきたその炒め物は、普通と言えば普通、まあまあと言えばまあまあ（笑）。味は少ししょっぱさを抑えている感じ。炒めは文句なし。マガジンハウスを初め、近隣のビジネスパーソンに重宝されている店だろう。
食べログで検索すると同じ店名の店が高輪台と戸越銀座にあって、戸越銀座の方はメニューの構成がこの店と同じなので、何らかの関係はあるのだろう。箸袋の裏にはこの店しか書いていなかったが。
マガジンハウスの本社のショウケースで各誌の最新号の表紙の見出しを眺めてみる。「BRUTUS」が「いい自転車。」、「popeye」は「インターネットで何してる？」、「an・an」は「愛とSEX」（笑）。雑誌が売れない売れないというけれど、その理由は単純に企画力の低下にあるのではないかと、同じ編集人として自戒を込めて思う。
連日猛暑が続いているが、今日は浜松で41.1度と過去日本最高に並ぶ気温を記録。東京は最高36.5度だった。
一方、今日の新感染者は東京161人、全国では630人。なお、4～5月のＧＤＰは年率計算でマイナス27.8％だったそうだ。
