平日の12時00分に予約して伺いました。
GINZA GREENビルの8階にあります。以前、伺ったことのあるイル・ピノーロや銀明翠と同じビルでした。
オーストラリア料理なのになぜかクッキーのことが多く書かれており、どうしてだろうと思っていたことを、連れ合いが教えてくれました。
ツッカベッカライ カヤヌマのクッキーと同じなんですね。
友人の奥さんが画廊を始めるというので、開店祝いに持っていこうと思い、在庫があるか聞いてみると、1個だけあるというので、帰るまで取り置きしていただきました。
さて、高級感の漂う店内を見渡すと、最初に目に付くのがクリムトの複製画です。20世紀初頭の数年間、夏を過ごしたザルツブルグ近郊のアッター湖で描いた風景画です。２枚ある内の１枚は2019年に東京都美術館で開かれた「クリムト展」に出品されており、実物も観たことがありました。また、その絵が飾られている下の５〜６人用のソファーもクリムト柄になっていて素敵です。
食器も女帝マリアテレジアにより皇室直属の磁器窯になったアウガルテンとハプスブルク家の庇護の下、王妃エリザベートやヨーロッパ各国の王侯貴族を魅了してきたハンガリーのヘレンドを使っておられます。
最初の皿は、小さなスープとコロッケです。学生時代に食べたコロッケとは大違いです。
この後前菜です。
サワークラウトと岩魚のゼリー寄せ“スュルツヒェン”
低温燻製にしたマスタードビネグレットとレティッヒサラート
魚のおいしさは当たり前ですが、添えられたカブの新鮮さにおどろきました。
スープはチョイスで、黄人参のスープ オレンジとショウガの香り又は ウィーンのコンソメスープ フレッシュハーブのクレープ“フリタッテン”を浮かべてですが，連れ合いとシェアしました。コンソメが人気のようですが、ショウガの香りの人参のスープも初めていただく滋味高いお味でした。
メインは連れ合いは魚のソテーして 茸と根セロリのソース、私はポークのローストステーキをいただきました。
デザートはケシの実とドライイチジクのコンポートをクーヘンに 赤ワインソースでした。
最後のカフェはメレンゲの上にクリームを乗せたウインナーコーヒーとプティフールです。三日月型のお菓子が見た目とは違いカリカリしており、これも見たことの無いお菓子でコーヒーとも良く合い、おいしくいただきました。
おみやげも買えましたし、久しぶりに優雅で満足度の高い良い時間をご提供いただき、ありがとうございました。
