日曜日に1人で訪問。最初、似たようなビルの前を行ったり来たりしてしまった。看板をインパクトに前に前に置いていないので分かりづらいがたしかに看板も出ている。
エレベーターを降りればすぐにBARなのだが、カウンターとの間(入り口)に英国調の扉があり、玄関がある。入れば分かるが、普段見慣れないボトラーズからオールドボトルまで幅広い酒種を取り揃えている。タイトルの【書斎】とはこのそのボトルが醸し出す個性が集まり、1つにまとまっている程を例えた。
1杯目はスプモーニ。グレープフルーツとカンパリのバランスは意外にも苦め寄り。しかし後味爽やかでクセになる。
2杯目はウイスキーサワー。普段飲めないオールドボトルの威力を体感。ちなみにウイスキーはbat69。
3杯目は三浦バーテンダーの大会カクテル。
大会ということもあって、甘さのインパクトが極められた一杯。
4杯目はラム オン ザ ロック。銘柄はマツサレム。甘すぎずほんのりスパイシーで飲みやすい。最後の一杯にもってこい。ロンサカパ センテナリオ好きな方はぜひとも。
BARに入ってから出るまで不快なことはこれっぽっちもなかった。全てが確かな技術とサービスで彩られて心地よかった。各酒種は非常に多いので、相談することをオススメする。非常に丁寧に提案してくれる。
