銀座駅から新橋方面に昭和通りの裏を歩いた路地にある鰻店。
知人の中で話題になっていたので訪問してみました。
広い店内で、鰻を焼く香ばしい香りが漂っています。
メニューも色々ありましたが、
【特上 中鰻 蒲焼 2尾 白焼1尾、蒲焼1尾】【極み 太鰻 一尾】+ビール
を注文してさすがに、関西風で焼くとのこと、50分程で順番に出てきました。
かなり型のよい鰻で肉付きが良いようでかなり分厚い蒲焼でした。
最初は、白焼きの部分だけを頂きましたが、脂が乗ってふっくらしていて、皮側はパリっとした食感が楽しめ
関西風の白焼きの良さを感じました。
蒲焼もしかりで、結構脂が乗って御飯とビールが進みました。
太鰻は、更に脂が乗って、弾力がかなり強いタイプの鰻でした。
しっかりと、噛み締める鰻で野性の熊になったような気持ちで噛み締めました。
総じて、大振りな鰻をたっぷり頂いた印象ですが、この時代、ここまで徹底的に鰻を頂いて
1万円台で済めば安いのかもしれませんね。
またガッツリ鰻を食べたい気分の時に伺いたいと思います。
