Ginza. We are particular about the natural aroma and chewy texture of the eel, and the method of grilling the eel directly over charcoal without steaming it.
There are a wide variety of eel skewers, including kabayaki and shirayaki (grilled with salt), as well as short eel skewers, liver, chestnut, tail, collar, and turnip. This is a product that allows yo |
It's been a long time since I last saw Nyorosuke. It's a store run by the International Corporation, and you can find it in quite a few places. Personally, I've been there since the Shibuya store that closed. I'm not sure if all Nyorosuke are like this, but Ginza seems to offer freshly prepared Jiyayaki. Creative eel dishes such as eel shabu shabu, eel shabu Sukiyaki, and eel sukiyaki are also available. Well, personally, I'm not interested in that, so today I had the basic Unajyu. There was also a performance where they went out of their way to show us raw eel. Because of the location, there are probably a lot of foreigners, so they may also be receptive to it. Today's eel is from China. Charcoal-grilled. ▶︎Ordered items ・Una Jyunami 4180 yen Pickles, soup It came out in about 15 minutes. I went for the medium size listed, but it's about 3 pieces, which is pretty big. It wasn't a weight, it was in a steamer-like container. When I received it, I found that the surface was crispy and the meat was moist and fluffy, and I think the pasteurization inside was quite good. It has a good amount of fat and has a good texture. However, the grilled skin is not so good. When you brought it to me, you said it was baked to a crisp, but it was just a little crispy and not cooked through. Incomplete. However, it had a burnt or sooty flavor in some places, and felt uneven. The smell of charcoal was mixed with foreign substances, which was a bit of a waste. The eel is an individual that is typical of China. It is rich in fat and has a great flavor. The scent is also a bit dirty. I don't think the eel is delicious considering the ingredients, but it's this size, it's in Ginza, and the price is about the same as in China. The sauce is slightly sweet and refreshing. Although it is ground-grilled, it does not have a strong feel. There wasn't too much seasoning and it wasn't bad. However, because of that, it becomes easier to understand the potential of eel. I'm glad I didn't order Shirayaki lol The rice was fluffy and delicious. Thanks in part to the container, it stays warm all the time. However, the rice at the bottom was incredibly hard to eat. I'm not a fan of leaving rice grains behind, so I'd like to see some improvements made in this area. Pickles and soup were average. There was also an unusual type of sansho miso, but be careful as it has a strong numbing effect. When it gets carried away, it eliminates all the taste of eel. Freshly caught grilled eel is precious, but I think I'll be satisfied with the eel here just once. LOL It's China after all, so even a single eel of this size will be full of fat and you'll be done with it. Lol A good eel is about 1 kg. I could eat it. . Grilling isn't bad, but it's still the skin and aroma. The aftertaste after the meal isn't very good either, so I feel like I don't need it here. thank you for the food~!
