火曜日にもかかわらず、周囲のごはん屋さんは満席状態。
なんでだろう、と思いつつも、地下に続く階段に導かれるようにこちらのお店にお邪魔した。
「銀座の地下に潜む秘密のジャングル」
というのがコンセプトらしい。
鬱蒼とした密林を思わせるような暗がりの店内。天井には星空に見立てたライトが瞬く。
ふへー……。
ブラックライトでハーブを栽培しているのか、カウンターの上にあるプランナーから、都度、収穫が行われていた。
メニューは二次元バーコードの読み取り式。
コンセプトバーあるあるだけれど、オリジナルカクテルがとても多い印象。
フルーツを全面に押し出してるのは、ジャングルというテーマだからだろうか。
お願いしたのが、《Mori to Komorebi》（森と木漏れ日）、和梨のブルドック、オレンジブリュレ。
森と木漏れ日は、レモングラスの香りがすごく華やかで、甘さ控えめ。さっぱりといただける。
グラスのふちにココナッツオイルが塗布されているらしいのだけれど、ちょっとよくわからなかった。バカ舌で申し訳ない。
和梨のブルドックは、お酒少なめでお願いしたせいなのか、ウイスキーの香りが感じにくいのが少しだけ残念。
ただ、和梨を贅沢に使っているのか、粒粒感と和梨の控えめな甘さが品が良くておいしい。
氷の上にそっと添えられた紅葉も目に楽しいと思う。
そういえば、カウンターの上に置かれていた和梨がなくなっていたけれど、あの大きさ、新高梨……？ いやいや、まさか。
お通しはナッツとドライフルーツと暖かいトマトのスープ。
トマトスープはケチャップかな？？？？？？？ ってくらい味が濃かったんだけれど、遠くの方でコンソメのお味がして及第点。
ナッツとドライフルーツは普通においしい。
オレンジブリュレが、ちょっと残念なクオリティで、なんていうんだろう。
豆腐みたいな弾力で硬化してたといえばいいのか、たぶん、あれ、火を入れ過ぎでは……？
家でプリン作って失敗したときのあの感じと言えばいいのか……。
オレンジのさわやかな香りがすごく魅力的だっただけに少しだけ残念。
グラスの足がトーテムポールになっていたり、すごく創意工夫が見えるだけに、あと一歩というところか。
