昼食難民になってうろついていたところ、「こんな店あったっけ？」ってな感じで見つけたトンカツ店。以前は何の店だったのか全く思い出せない。
店内は、壁に押し付けられた横長テーブル1脚とガタガタの椅子が5脚あるだけで、イートイン客はそこに座る。店員さんは2〜3人で回している様子。
メニューは、A4紙に所狭しと文字を詰め込んであちこちに貼られている。ロースカツ、ミックスフライ、カツカレー、エビフライカレーの他、ラーメン、汁なし担々麺、チャーシュー丼。麺まであるのには驚く。
10分ほどで「ロース勝つ」定食（1200円）到着。ここではカツを「勝つ」と呼ぶらしい。キャベツ、ご飯と味噌汁にきんぴらゴボウがついてきた。オススメだという岩塩ももらう。
店内にはABCDとアルファベットの振られた複数のソースも添えつけられている。それほど違いが分からない上に、岩塩ももらっといて何だが、やはりトンカツはソースだなと再認識。
定価は1200円。毎月29日は「肉の日」ということで、会計時にそのことを話すと840円の割引価格になるのだが、定価にはあまり納得感がない。同じ価格帯なら、近所にもっと美味しいトンカツ屋さんがあるしなぁ…。
トンカツを食べた後、認印の完成を待つ人あり。店の入口に印鑑ボックスがあった。そういえば店の前身は文房具屋さんだったかも。何でまたトンカツ屋さんに…？
