土曜午前日比谷で映画「18×2 君へと続く道」を観た後、お昼時にコリドー街をぶらりすると「近大水産研究所」隣に「京都大衆すき焼き 北斗」がオープン。和牛すき焼き定食(並)1,390円→オープン記念1,000円。和牛すき焼き定食(増)1,690円→オープン記念1,400円とあるので入店。
オープン記念の2品と、ランチビア300円もオーダー。
ガスコンロは1人1台の一人鍋。ビールメニューはクラフトビール(マルシェタイプかと)もあるが、ランチビールはおそらく一番搾り生。
そして、すき焼き鍋登場。肉は並の方でも割とある感じ。ゆるり系のお姉さんの説明を聴き、強火にしてお肉がピンクになるまで焼き、その後弱火にして割り下のの字で3回、そして砂糖すりきり1杯。ぐつぐつして茶色くなればできあがり。
すき焼きは肉も柔らかく美味しい。しかもオープン記念価格もあるが、これで1,000円は超お値打ち。
