有楽町に行った際にはチェックするアンテナショップです。道内の老舗百貨店・丸井今井が運営していますが、丸井今井自体、道内では閉店が相次いだので、ここ東京で繁盛しているのが何か不思議です。
今日は、道産子の叔母がお赤飯を作るために必要な、小樽で製造された甘納豆を仕入れに、仕事の合間に訪問しました。北海道の赤飯は、小豆ではなく金時の甘納豆が入っているのです。別に甘納豆ならどこ産でもいいのですが、金時の甘納豆自体が手に入りにくくなったので、探していたら以前ここで見つけたわけです。
さて本題はソフトクリームです。平日の午後、店もカウンターも老若男女、日本人・外国人で賑わっていましたが、甘納豆を購入後、雰囲気に誘われて久しぶりに味わいます。夕張メロン、バニラ、ミックスいずれも400円で、立ち食いながら、都心としてはリーズナブルかと思います。
ミックスにしましたが、牛乳主体のあっさり系で、メロン部分も甘すぎる印象はありません。「食べで」も十分で、満足でした。ソフトクリーム程度では夕張経済の支援にもなりませんが、とにかく束の間の夕張旅行ができました。
