お芝居帰りにパークサイドダイナーへ。
カレーと悩み抜いたが名物のパンケーキを選択。
美しい焼き色のパンケーキ3枚にいちご、メープルシロップ、ホイップバターが添えられる。
最近は色々上に盛られた“映え系”パンケーキが多いけれど、パンケーキそのものの味と焼き色の美しさで勝負しているところに帝国ホテルの自信とプライドを感じる。
バターのコク、ミルクの甘さ、メープルシロップを染み込ませたパンケーキは味も抜群でした。
