私が今まで食べた中華の中で一番美味しかったお店は香港にあるペニンシュラホテルの中華なのですが、日本のペニンシュラにも中華があるということでかなり期待していきました。
今回ランチの中で一番立派なコースを注文
プレミアムランチ (8703円)
高級ホテルということもあり店内は立派な調度品などが数多く置かれており、食事を楽しむために最大限もてなされているなあと感じながら料理を待ちます。最初の一品目が運ばれてくる前にテーブルに置かれていたカシューナッツの飴炊きを頂いたのですが美味しすぎます。これ売って欲しいと一緒に来た友人と盛り上がってしまいました。
前菜から始まりデザートで閉めるまで６品提供されましたが、どれもポーションが小さく、特段立派で美味しいものも特になかった気がします。これが安い方のコースならまだわかります。でもこの値段でいい方のコースでこれは少し納得がいきませんでした。
味も美味しいのですが特筆するほど感動するものも特になく、まあ美味しいぐらいのもので少し残念でした。勝手に期待しすぎたのかな？と思う節もあるので少し甘めに点数をつけさせていただきます。再訪はなしかなあ
