地下鉄日比谷駅に直結する「カフェ」では、デザートやお食事をご用意しております
地下1階に位置する「ザ・ペニンシュラ ブティック＆カフェ」では、ホテルメイドのペストリーやベーカリーのほか、ザ・ペニンシュラ香港が発祥とされるXO醤をはじめとした調味料やオリジナルグッズを販売しております。ブティックに併設するカフェでは、ホテルのシェフが手掛けるお食事やデザートをカジュアルにお楽しみいただけます。 |
夕食後のデザートを購入する為に利用。
妻と銀座に出掛けた折に訪問。場所は日比谷駅を上がった直にあり、ペニンシュラトウキョウの地下1階。
店舗の周りにケーキやパンを造る工房が配置されており、ガラス張りになっているので外国の方やお子様連れの方々が賑やかに見学されていた。
妻も焼き菓子の工房に興味があったようで楽しそうに見ていた。
店内は流石ペニンシュラ。と言う高級感溢れる造りで、購入者の皆さんも落ち着いて上品に買い物されている。
こちらも雰囲気を壊さぬようゆっくり選び、フレジェとチーズケーキを注文。家に持ち帰り夕食後に紅茶とともに頂く。
フレジェ、チーズケーキともに大変満足の美味しさ。
甘さと酸味のバランスが良いだけではなく、様々な食感を体験させてくれる手の込んだ造りと様々な味が絡み合う多層構造。
個人的にはもう少しシンプルでも良いかと思ったが、お使い物等には大変喜ばれそう。
機会があれば再訪したい。
