週も半ばを過ぎると肉欲が増してくるのはよくあること
明日は事故による骨折箇所の治癒具合を確認する通院のため休暇の予定で、1日早い週末のようなものだから、この際思い切り肉にまみれてみるのも悪くはないなと思いながらお昼になってやってきたのは新東京ビルの地下にある「マヌエル タスカ ド ターリョ」という一度や二度では覚えにくい名前のお店です
こちら、本来はポルトガル料理のお店らしいけれど、ランチタイムには鉄板焼きの肉料理をメインに提供しているらしい

そういえば、門前仲町にもランチタイムにはカレーを提供するポルトガル料理屋さんがあったな

店内に入ってカウンター席に案内され、私がオーダーしたのは「メガミックス(1,800円)」
いい歳をして“メガ”なんていう名前が付いたメニューに手を出すのはいかがなものかと思うけれど、ビーフ、ポーク、チキンの3種がトリプルプレーで1度に試せるというのは抗しがたい魅力なんだよな
ちなもに、肉が3種なら卓上に用意されているソースも3種
私なんぞは醤油さえあればそれで万能だけれど、ないとなればとりあえずソースの選択肢が多いのはありがたい
で、ややあってやってきた「メガミックス」
まずは“ポルトガル料理の定番”とある点に敬意を表して「モーリョヴェルデ」という玉葱のソースを使ってみたけれど、さっぱりしている一方で酸味があるのが私としてはあまり好みではないから、こうなると「ローストガーリックソース」と「ピリピリ」というソースを交互に使うことになります
肉の方は、ビーフは格安ステーキ店ではお馴染みのランプだから味も肉質もそれなり
ポークはまずまずで、一番美味しくいただけるのはチキンかな
いずれにしても、これだけガッツリと肉にまみれれば肉欲も満たされます
ところで…
気になったのはこちらのライス
ネイティブ系の中国料理店でよく出てくる不味いごはんとは違うけれど、和食屋さんのごはんとはどこか食感が違うように感じるのは、もしかして炊き方が違うのかな
まあ、こういうポルトガル料理のお店で白いごはんが当たり前のようにいただけるだけでもありがたいことなんですがね
