会社帰りに同僚と軽く一杯飲んで帰るかと立ち寄ったお店。『シュマッツ・ビア・ホール』は日比谷グルメゾンに入るドイツビールを楽しめる。
まずは好きなビールを各々注文して乾杯。私は「ヴァイツェン」白ビールでスタート。バナナの香りが特徴的。
さて、おつまみはどうするか。ソーセージ盛り合わせは外せない。ソーセージとビールはとても相性がよい。さすが双方ドイツ代表のレギュラー。ジャーマンポテトも注文する。
先に届けられたのはジャーマンポテト。ジャーマンポテトと言えばマッシュポテトに味付けされたものをイメージしていたが、ここのお店のは厚めにスライスしたポテトに千切りにしたベーコンをカリカリに焼いたものが合わさっている。食べてみるとジャガイモの味が素直に味わえておいしい。
後半ではシュニッツェルも注文。こちらもビールによく合う。旨い。
他にも色々注文したかったが、今日のメンバーでは食べきれないので自重。
程よく酔っ払って、飲み会終了。
