Italian Cuisine is famous for its thick-sliced bacon pasta. The restaurant is located on the first basement floor of the Uchisaiwaicho Fukoku Seimei Building, and is crowded at lunchtime with customers looking for both standard and limited-time pasta. It was a little late, just after 12:00. The timing was perfect and I was guided to a nice, bright seat by the window. Carbonara with thick-sliced bacon seems to be the most popular, but since it was the day after a drinking party, I avoided cream-based ones. ▪️Thick-sliced bacon arrabbiata 1,350 yen ・Includes salad and drink ・Regular size 340g ・L size + 100 yen 440g *All weights after boiling There is a mega serving with 10 pieces of bacon, but there is also a regular size with 5 pieces. First, water, salad, and drinks (I chose iced tea) were brought to me. Shortly after finishing the salad first, the pasta appeared. Pasta with bright red tomatoes served generously on a large plate. Even regular is a decent amount. Five luxurious pieces of thick-sliced bacon, about 1cm thick. A knife is also stuck in the pasta to cut the bacon. A refreshing tomato sauce with a sour taste that goes well with al dente pasta. The tangy chili pepper is also effective. A simple pasta dish with fresh tomato sauce. Bacon is soft and can be cut with just a fork without a knife. You can fully enjoy the saltiness and aroma of the bacon and the umami and taste of the meat, which can only be achieved by thickly cutting the bacon. Along the way, you'll want some weird flavor items like cheese, but you'll be able to enjoy it easily until the end. I want to try carbonara next time.
