I occasionally drop by this big Shinbashi store. It was relatively easy to get in during the pandemic, but since the pandemic ended, it seems to have been busier, and I tried climbing the stairs a few times, but it was full and I couldn't get in. I looked in and there were some vacancies... I dropped by for the first time in a while. I usually get an all-you-can-drink option with my course, but today I can't eat that much, so I went for the ala carte. I started with beer and then wine. And the appetizer was the same as before, grilled potato salad. It's delicious when it's burnt. The tonpeiyaki is fluffy with lots of eggs. I love eating horumon while it's being grilled on a hot plate. And I thought I'd try the monjayaki, which is a rare treat. The monjayaki, well, for someone who lived near Tsukishima for a long time, is a bit disappointing, but it's good as a snack. I said I don't eat that much, but my drinking kept me drinking, so I ended up ordering more Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). It's thick and delicious. Above all, the manager is the best person to recommend this place, he's friendly and always cheers me up. It seems like he became the owner during the coronavirus pandemic, and I feel like supporting him. I'll be back!
