こちらのコースでは高級中華定番のフカヒレ、北京ダック、アワビなどを楽しんだ。一つ一つに余計な雑味が無く旨味がしっかり前面に押し出されていたように思う。
その時に連れていた相手が「こういう所で食べる普通の中華料理はどのような味がするのか？」という疑問を抱いたため麻婆豆腐、炒飯、餃子を単品で頼んでみた。
それらは確かに慣れ親しんだ料理でありながら普段食べている物よりも味により奥行きがあり麻と辣に深みがあってより満足出来る品になっていた。良い勉強になった。
