ある日、メニューの看板を見つけた。ずっと通ってきた場所だったので最近ランチを始めたのかもしれない。場所はどこ？「国会に続く出世街道入ってすぐ、一軒家の洋食屋さんです。」と書いてあるのだが国会も出世街道もわからない。→矢印でもあれば向かっていくのだが、初日はメニューの写真を撮って場所を確認しようと思い路地に入ったらお店があった。ちょっと気になり翌週訪問してみた。
お店に入ってみると格式あるバーのような雰囲気である。カウンター席の椅子もがっちりとソファーのような椅子。おしぼりはラベンダーの香りがする厚みのある紙を使っていて高級感あり。ステーキ2000円にしようか？ムニエルにしようか？黒毛和牛もも肉ハンバーグ1500円にしよう。オーダー後に気づいたのだがナポリタンを注文する人ばかりである。そんなに人気店なのかなー？スパゲティ100gぐらいの上品なナポリタンなんじゃないの？隣の人が注文したナポリタンを見たらそうではなかった。盛りのいいナポリタンを見て2度見してしまった。後で知ったのだが最近テレビで「ナポリタン」を話題にされ、再人気になったような。ケチャップベタベタのナポリタンではなく品のあるように思える。きっとこのナポリタンなら好きだな。
優等生と思えるハンバーグは目玉焼きとフライドポテト、にんじん、ほうれん草が添えてある。洋食屋で食べるデミグラスソースは美味しいんだな。和牛肉の旨みがあるデミグラスソース最高である。新しい特徴がある訳ではなく、ただ質のよい素材を使っている。和牛の甘いお肉をいただけるのはいい。絶対にナポリタンよりはハンバーグだと思う。ご飯が白米ではないところが以外である。ここは白米がいいと思うのだが玄米の入ったご飯であった。
デザートがなんとかき氷。コーヒーの豆をひくような機械音が聞こえたのだが氷をかいていたのか。コーヒーもセットになっているのだがちょっと時間がかかっている様子。氷を半分食べたのだが中にあんこが入っていたのが感動である。シロップは和風な感じだったようだがはちみつ？なんだったのだろう。デザート付きのランチかなりお得であった。
