新橋に宿泊し、新幹線までまだ時間があったので、サラリーマンの方達の行く道を逆らうようにして向かいました。
駅から徒歩７分でしょうか。方向音痴で、グーグル先生片手に迷い気味に行ったので、実際はもっと近いのかな。
安定の喫茶店の外観で期待が高まります。
入店すると管理職ぽい(私が勝手に思い込んでみた)オジサマが３組ほど、新聞片手にコーヒー飲んでます。この光景が結構たまらんのです。
私は喫煙はしませんが、許せる程度の煙のくゆられぶりでした。
注文は本日のコーヒー(コスタリカ)とミックスサンドです。ミックスサンドのパンは注文時に伝えれば焼いてくれます。今回は焼きでお願いしました。
パンは１０枚切りのものを使用、トーストの表面に薄っすらバターが塗られた状態でサンドされてます。レモンもそえられて。このバターとレモンでミックスサンドが凡庸じゃない気がしました。
コーヒーも中深煎り手前位かな。スッキリとしてて美味しかったです。
