今日のランチは新橋５丁目の菊凰さんです。
第一京浜沿いの角にある黄色いテント張りのひさしが目印の中華やさんです。
最近はだんだんと見かけなくなりつつある、日本人がその地で古くからのれんを掲げ、お店や出前の姿が町の風景に溶け込んだ、いわゆる町の中華やさんですね。
頼んだのはラーメンと小チャーハンのセット。定番セットの半チャンラーメンが税込700円です。
ラーメンはまあ普通のどこにでもある可もなく不可もなくといった感じですが、チャーハンは美味しいです。しっとり系で、味も食感も申し分なし。量も小チャーハンというのがもったいないくらいです。
窓際の席に座り、空を眺めると、汐留のきらびやかな高層ビル群が霞んで見えます。
店内は杏里の「オリビアを聴きながら」が静かに流れる中、中華鍋とガス台がぶつかり合う金属音が聞こえてきます。
まさに昭和の中華やさん、どストライクのお店でした(^^)
