今日は祝日。有明アリーナで17時から、友人と２人でロッド・スチュワートのライブに参加しました。
その帰り、感想会がてら「馬並み家 新橋」さんへ。場所は、JR新橋駅の西側の繁華街の中、烏森神社を抜けた先の小道にあります。
入店したのは20時半頃でしたが、なかなか賑わっています。私達はお店の奥のカウンターに案内されました。
まずは生ビールで乾杯。するとお通しと一緒に、何故か「赤まむしドリンク」が出てきます。その意図に首をひねりながらも、以下をお願いしました。
♦︎特注 イカ刺し塩辛
料理が出てくるまでの前菜的な一品。それ程期待はしていなかったのですが、新鮮でイカがコリコリしており、塩加減も絶妙で美味しかった！
♦︎本日のお造り五点盛り
赤身・ロース・ヒレ・馬バラ肉・ザブトンの５種類で、ニンニクと生姜が添えられています。このお店の馬肉は青森県産とのことで、熊本で食べた馬肉と比べると、身がしっかり締まっていて歯応えがある感じ。どちらが美味しいがは好みだと思いますが、私は馬肉好きなので、これはこれで美味しくいただきました。
ビールの後は日本酒です。さすがは青森のお店だけあって、なんと「田酒」がありました。これを見つけたからには、飲まない訳にはいきません。まずはそれを２杯、最後は「陸奥八仙 純米吟醸中汲み無濾過」をいただきました。
♦︎馬力焼き
ジンギスカンの鍋が出てきて、そこで焼いて食べる焼肉。玉ねぎと長ねぎが添えられているので、鍋の周りに敷いて、真ん中で馬肉を焼きます。カルビの部位とのことですが、脂が少なくあっさり食べられます。
♦︎手羽串焼き
本当は「シャモロック 骨付きもも肉の一枚炙り」を注文したのですが、売り切れとのことでこちらに変更。身が締まっていて弾力があり、さすがはシャモロックですね。だからこそ、骨付きもも肉は残念でした。
最後にライブの感想を一言。ロッド・スチュワートも79歳ですし、前回の日本公演が期待外れだったこともあり、どうかなと思いながら観に行きました。結論から言うと、前回よりも声が出ていたし、動きも良く、ヒット曲満載のいいライブでした。「Stay with Me」が聴けなかったのは残念ですが、これは次回？の楽しみということにしておきます。
お勘定は２人で12,000円程度です。
