Even if I move to this area, I think the basics will probably be home-made Bento (boxed lunch) lunches, but I think I'll try to develop it little by little. I think there are some stores that I will revisit rather than explore. When I was here before, I remember that Common Gate was used more frequently. In other words, it was across the street, so it was easy to get to Atago, Kamiyacho, and Tameike. Back then, I think Common Gate had soup shops and mainly vegetarian shops where you could get your own side dishes, but things have changed completely. Or rather, Marugame udon was over here after all. It looks like it's currently in the Kasumigaseki Building. I don't remember this Chinese food either. I don't remember, but when I checked, it seems like it's been around since then. It's a large shop with a castle in its name, but once you enter, it feels quite ordinary. It's a typical place for the common people, but the seats inside are divided into sections, so it's quite relaxing. Visited by 2 people, there seems to be one dish available, but we both choose from this month's set for just under 1,000 yen. I had gomoku yakisoba and boiled Gyoza / Dumpling, and my companion had fried chicken with black vinegar and rice, and both sides had almond tofu. The food itself was pretty average, and although I was surprised at the size of the fried chicken, the boiled Gyoza / Dumpling and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) weren't good, but they weren't bad either. I chose to come here because it was empty at a busy time, but by the time I left, there was a long line. However, when I went to the first floor of the Kasumigaseki Building the other day, I realized that back in 2010, it was even more crowded around 12 o'clock. I think the number of people coming to work has decreased compared to before due to remote work. Around 2020, this place must have been quiet. Well, I'm impressed that both Romespa and Thai Cuisine have survived. Ah, here too. The clerks are from the continent, which means they're pretty rough. However, the price is reasonable, and although it is called this month's set meal, there is a wide variety of menus so you won't get bored. Both in terms of quantity and the inclusion of dessert at the end, it was very satisfying.
