After the delicious Szechuan Cuisine in Shinbashi, it was only natural that we went to after-party since it has reopened. However, since I had not made a reservation, I was in trouble. There are so many shops in Shinbashi that I can't even keep track of them, but I walked a long way from the underground to the ground level of the station, but none were open! There are queues everywhere. It was just before spring, but Japan was feeling better. I couldn't help but wait in line, so I decided to wait at the Haritori Shinbashi store, which has a large box and relatively little wait time. Still a 20 minute wait. Scary. I don't know the size of the store, which occupies the fourth floor of a building. There was plenty of room for the six people who passed by to sit at the table. A huge lantern signboard stood out outside, but inside it was a relatively normal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). First of all, since the name of the restaurant had the word "bird" in it, I was expecting yakitori, but even the taste was average. I ordered Tsukune for 250 yen, Hattu for 180 yen, Chicken fillet for 250 yen, Seseri for 250 yen, and Zuri for 180 yen. The price is on the low side, but I feel like it's something like this in Shinbashi. All have a light charcoal feel. In particular, the meatballs and chicken fillet were worse than average. Tick-tock. The result was disappointing. For alcohol, I turned to wine, but it was sold out. Hmm, I wanted to tell them that if it's a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), they should do their best to stock up on items, but the female staff member seemed apologetic and apologized, so I held back. We ordered from several other restaurants and the bill was just over 5,000 yen per person. It was a disappointing result as the price was not much different from Szechuan Cuisine at the first party.
