新橋駅の目の前にある喫茶店的なお店です。なんというか、高いお店です。
平日のお昼に伺いました。時刻は13時半頃。
お店に入るとお客さんは15人くらい。空いているテーブルがいくつかありました。
メニューを見るとショートケーキとコーヒーのセットが1960円です。ランチメニューと比較してずいぶん高い設定でしたが、これにしてみました。
椿屋スペシャルティブレンド珈琲。ストロベリーショートケーキ。1960円。税込み。
待つこと8分ほどでコーヒーとケーキがやってきました。
サイフォンの丸底フラスコでやってきましたが、カップに注いだら全部入って、フラスコはそのまま回収されていきました。カップに入れて普通に持ってくればいいのでは？という気持ちに。
香りの良いコーヒーで、さすがスペシャルなんとかというだけのことがあります。
ショートケーキは見るからにでかいです。いちごは酸味があってたくさん乗ってます。スポンジはしっとりとしていて甘くおいしいです。量が多いだけあって生クリーム感の控えめなクリームになっていました。このケーキもおいしいです。高いだけのことある。
おいしかったです。
