同僚６名と「暑気払い」と称して飲むことになり、以前行って良かったという声のあったこの店に突撃。いつも盛況で入れないことが多いそうだが、ちょうど空き席が出て無事入店。我々のあと何組も満員で入れない客がいた。金曜夜としてはラッキーだったようだ。
大衆居酒屋風だが、内装は新しく清潔感がある。
お通しは、生キャベツ。付ける味噌は一人一人別皿で、上に味噌・下にマヨネーズの２層構造。
看板に「肉食」をうたっており、肉メニューが充実している。
串もの、揚げ物、たたき、ステーキ類などあるなか、目を見張るべきは、牛筋や豚もつなどの「煮込み」系のもの。牛豚鶏、味も色々、酒を飲まずにどうするかという優良つまみ。いくつか頼んだが、どれも美味しい。
さっぱりポン酢のハラミ焼きや、クリームチーズの西京漬けも絶品であった。
ここのメニューにぴったりなホッピー(＋キンミヤ)をはじめ、ビール、ハイボール、日本酒、芋焼酎も豊富なラインナップでありがたい。
店員さんの働きや感じも気持ち良く、また飲みに来たい店である。
