The second half of the year has begun, and it's the season for new encounters. So, for a welcome party where you can get to know each other a little better, a course with all-you-can-drink is convenient. This shiny building faces Shinbashi Red Brick Street. It's only a few minutes' walk from the Hibiya exit of Shinbashi Station, so it's very accessible, and it has a variety of restaurants, so it's very convenient. [Ginger Ale] We toasted with ginger ale. On this day, we had a course with 3 hours of all-you-can-drink. If you heard that all courses are now 1,000 yen off as part of the opening special, you'd have no choice but to go for the course. Even though all-you-can-drink is a good deal, I'm still a non-alcoholic. lol [Cold Chawanmushi with Seasonal Vegetables], [Seasonal Small dish] Cold Chawanmushi with Seasonal Vegetables and a seasonal Small dish arrived on one plate, colorfully arranged. [Wasabi Edamame] And this! Wasabi Edamame!! How are they made? Is the boiling water made with wasabi? Do they sprinkle something like wasabi powder on it after boiling? Anyway, the tang of the wasabi that goes through your nose is so pleasant that I'm totally hooked. I just can't stop eating the edamame. [Vegetable and corn salad - refreshing homemade dressing] This salad is not just vegetables and corn, but also steamed chicken. The refreshing Japanese-style dressing goes really well with it. [Fish appetizer] Lightly simmered octopus and radish. Cold and served with lemon for a refreshing taste. [Assortment of three kinds of sashimi] The menu says it's a platter of three kinds, but there are actually four! Is it a special bonus for today only? I feel like I got a good deal. (*^^*) [Assortment of seasonal Tempura] A platter that allows you to enjoy both vegetables and seafood, with shiso leaves, eggplant, vegetables, shrimp, and small fish (what is it? There was no explanation, so I don't know). It is served with tempura sauce and matcha salt. [Charcoal-grilled special thigh meat] Since the restaurant's name is "Toritori," chicken dishes are of course included in the course. The moist and tender charcoal-grilled thigh meat goes perfectly with yuzu pepper. [Seafood shabu-shabu] It's not shabu shabu, it's "shabu". Lol There are three types of vegetables, mushrooms, and seafood. I guess they are proud of the freshness of the seafood, which can be eaten just as "shabu". The cold days have passed and the chilly weather has increased, so it's the season for a hot pot course. [Grapefruit juice] [Seafood rice for the final course] I thought the rice for the final course would be made with shabu shabu-shabu broth, but it was Seafood rice in a cute clay pot. It was colorful like chirashi Sushi, with shredded egg, shredded crab meat, salmon roe, and chopped seaweed scattered throughout. You can eat it as it is, or pour the accompanying broth over it. I wanted something warm, so I poured the broth over it and ate it. Warm and cozy. [Today's sweets] I had some hot tea and the sweets were cozy. It was a very satisfying course with 11 dishes and all-you-can-drink. (*^^*) The wasabi edamame was so addictive that I wanted to eat it again and again. I often see and have eaten peperoncino edamame, but as a Japanese person, the wasabi flavor is addictive. I think that just having that included would make me want to come back to this course.
