ベトナム料理、実はデビュー戦。とてもポピュラーな東南アジア料理ながら、小生の中ではタイ・インドネシア・マレーシアに後れを取っておりました。昼下がりの銀座、インバウンドの方々をそこここに見かけます。NYの5番街やパリのシャンゼリゼ、LNのボンドストリートなどと比較して皆さんの目にはどう映っているいるのでしょうね。
お店は銀座といっても８丁目、駅からは少し歩きます。レムプラス銀座というホテルと同じ建物ですが、入り口は異なります。店内は広く数十席、レストランというよりもダイナー的な雰囲気。今回いただいたのは
・ 海鮮フォー
ビールは「バーバーバー（３３３）」というベトナムオリジナル、缶ビールというところがご愛敬です。フォーのスープは、アサリ・海老・イカなどから抽出されたとてもやさしい海鮮出汁、エスニックらしくコリアンダー、ライムの香りも。フォーは、海鮮出汁をよく吸ったコメの風味がとてもよかった。普段スープを飲み干すことはないのですが、全部いただきました。
こちらのお店の本店は恵比寿、お店のインフォによれば、元々は恵比寿にあるベトナム大使館の要請で出店したとか。シェフも本場から招聘しているとのこと。１２時すぎますと近所で勤務されていると思しき方々がつぎつぎといらっしゃり、席が埋まっていきました。
ベトナム料理のデビュー戦、とてもいい印象で終了しました。
