This was my first visit to Sapporo's famous restaurant Shirokuma in Tokyo. The charcoal and smokey style is the same as in Sapporo, and the unfrozen fresh lamb is also the same as at the Sapporo store! There are many different parts of Hokkaido lamb, as well as lamb and mutton from Austria and New Zealand, so it's fun to try and compare them. this day is? There seemed to be less variety of meat than when I had it in Sapporo, and I was disappointed that they didn't have Suffolk from Hokkaido, but I was very satisfied with the meat, which had less flavor and tasted like sheep!
