雨模様の早朝、新橋に向かう。
早朝にうどんを食べたいと思うと選択肢はあまりない。
蕎麦だとあるんだけどね。
やっぱり立食いそばのうどんではなく、ちゃんとしたうどんが食べたかった。
普通のうどんにちくわ天を選択。
口開けだからか、わからないけど、ちくわ天はその場で揚げてくれて、サクサクホカホカである。
うどんは讃岐とは違う、昔から東京にある柔らかめと言うか、ちょっとブキッとしたものである。
最近は讃岐のコシが主流な気がするけど、時にはこういううどんも美味しい。
店内はこういうお店にしては、とても綺麗なように感じた。
