I was walking around Ginza and found a restaurant that looked delicious. "Edo Chuka Yoshicho". There is a large window next to the entrance that allows you to peek into the kitchen. A large steamer was stacked just inside the window, and the steam was already rising. Just before opening time. When I meet the chef who is preparing the food, I nod and smile. I thought it had a nice atmosphere, so I waited for the store to open and entered. I was given a seat at the counter overlooking the kitchen, and when I looked at the menu, there were two options: a mapo tofu set meal or a shumai set meal. I came here attracted by the steam, so I chose the shumai set meal. In addition to the steamer, there is also a large convection oven, and every time you open the door, steam gushes out and the scenery becomes cloudy. I'm so excited. It's also delicious to eat shumai with drool chicken sauce... so I decided to try it. The siomai is coated with a spicy sauce, giving the pork fat a sweet taste. When eaten with mustard soy sauce, the sourness enhances the flavor of the meat. However, you can still enjoy the deliciousness of shumai by eating it as is. When I put the small bowl of mapo tofu on top of the rice, there was a surprising amount of it, which was a pleasant surprise.
