I've been going to New Shinbashi Building for over 20 years, and this is my favorite restaurant lately. Although it is a newcomer that opened about two years ago, it stands out in terms of overall taste, customer service, and value for money. Actually, it's a hidden gem that I don't really want to tell you about. The owner is a beautiful Chongqing lady. I came to Japan and was able to open my own store, which was my long-awaited goal, so I'm already working hard. The restaurant is constantly striving to create authentic Chinese cuisine that suits the Japanese palate, and has a full menu of non-Chinese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) as well. My favorite is "Mabo tofu". Chongqing was originally in Sichuan province. The skills he has honed in the area where mapo tofu is the most delicious in China are unparalleled. My trend is to eat mapo tofu on fried rice. This is so delicious that it's addictive. “Tegiri mochi” is also a standard. As the name suggests, it's delicious even if you tear it up with your hands and eat it as is, but there's also a trick to adding it to mapo tofu that makes it an exquisite sake appetizer. If you find yourself in a dilemma where you can't stop eating but don't want to finish eating, you're definitely a repeat customer. I would also like to give them 100 points for their constant customer service with a smile on their faces. When he has free time, he treats people kindly, and no matter how busy he is, he never forgets to be considerate. It feels good to see young people working hard, and there is no better service than enthusiasm. Tonight, I was healed by her smile, and the delicious food charged me with energy for tomorrow.
