I found something while walking along the "back corridor" under the Shinbashi overpass. What about "Spice Bistro"? ? Let's dive right in. ``Darkan Spice Bistro & Bar'' (DHARKAN) is scheduled to open on May 4, 2023. The interior is decorated to feel like a resort Restaurants, with motifs from India to the Middle East. A larger private room was also available. Lots of old Indian movie posters. If you look at the menu, you'll see everything from Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) tapas to halal grilled dishes. There were also Thai Cuisine, Indian Curry, and biryani. We also have a variety of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine from around the world. ★Spice Highball ¥650 A highly spiced highball based on Maker's Mark with plenty of turmeric and mixed masala. It might be good for the day after a hangover! ★Grilled avocado ¥690 Made in a Mediterranean style with spiced salt, basil, and olive oil. ★Couscous pilaf with mutton ¥1480 I wasn't sure whether to go with biryani, but I chose this one because it didn't taste like much else. The flavor of the sheep's fat permeates throughout the couscous, giving it a texture reminiscent of Bangladeshi biryani, or rather tehari. At most restaurants, you can guess which country the owner is from by looking at the interior, looking at the menu, and actually tasting the food, but here I couldn't figure it out until the very end. When there is a mix of Middle Eastern and Indian elements, the owner is often from the West, such as Iran or Turkey... Do you all understand? When I asked at the checkout, I found out that the owner was Indian. The kitchen staff on this day were Nepalese, but things varied depending on the shift. Indeed, we are living in an era where it is no longer possible to decide ``this is what'' is based on nationality alone. ●twitter AratameX “Curry Cell”: @hm_currycell
