30年来お世話になっている先輩にお誘いいただき、東京會館・プルニエへ行ってきました。
ちょっと時間に余裕があったので、大手町タワーから丸の内シャトルに乗車。この時期の大手町はネオンも綺麗でいいですね。
約束の10分前、東京會館に入ると毛足の長い絨毯が気持ちいい。伝統・格式を感じさせるロビーを抜けて、ちょっと館内をうろうろ（本当はフロアを間違えた）して5分前に入店。
うやうやしく席に案内されると既に先輩は到着されていて汗
一通り挨拶をし、金額の入ってないメニューを渡され「このコースでいこうと思うんだけど、カモ大丈夫？」「大好きです」
「飲み物はどうする？赤でいい？」「お任せします（ビール飲みたい）」
後ろに控えていたソムリエを呼んで「乾杯にグラスでシャンペーン」えっ⁉このクラスの店だとシャンパンってグラスで頼めるんだ…
続いて「赤はブルゴーニュの…、ボルドーの…、」それ以外の単語は聞き取れず…
「あっ、あと、お水ちょうだい」「〇〇と▲▲がありますが」えっ⁉、水にも種類があるの❓ 「ガス抜きのほうで」あっ、ミネラルウオーターのことか
という感じで始まり、美味しい料理を素晴らしいサービスでいただきました。
一口サイズのタイかフグのジュレ、ボタンエビをナイフとホークでいただき、どれも美味しかったけど、アワビの厚み、棒状で出てきたカモが印象的でした。
食後「車を呼んでるから一緒に帰ろうよ」とご自宅のある恵比寿までハイヤーへ同乗。
「今日はカミさんが都合悪くなっちゃって、ありがとうね。このお店、男性と来たのは初めてだよ(笑)」って、先輩、いつでも呼んでください！！
自分も次は妻と行きたい、と先輩の背中を見せられた夜でした。
