どうしても蕎麦が食べたくなる時がある。ツルツルの喉ごし、だしの効いたつけ汁を思い浮かべると、もういけない。
ということで、大手町ビルジングの地下にある吉田さんへ。
このフロアは、うどん、豚カツ、イタリアン、汁なしそばなど、財布にやさしいお店がいろいろ並んでいる。真新しいビルでは、こんな「味」は出ない。
吉田さんも、立ち食い蕎麦は落ち着かないが、
敷居の高い蕎麦屋さんはちょっと、という時にちょうどいい。
大ざると鮭ごはん(130円)を注文すると
待つほどもなく、海苔がたっぷり載った色白の蕎麦に鮭ごはん、蕎麦湯が入った大ぶりのポットが届いた。
空腹の身にスピード感がありがたい。
壁を見ると、そば焼酎蕎麦湯割りが460円、焼酎のボトルでも2540円とある。
「蕎麦で一杯」をやりたくなるが、今日は残業なので、ぐっと我慢をする。
周りは、じゃこ天などをあてにビールを飲むワイシャツ姿の4人組や、独り酒を飲みながら蕎麦をすする男性など、なんともいい風情。
つけ汁は、東京らしく黒く濃い味なので、
蕎麦を全部つけずにツルツルと味わう。
これこれ、と心の中で叫びながら、鮭ごはんをぱくり。蕎麦をズズッ。これを繰り返して完食。
これだけ食べて1000円で20円お釣りが来た。
オアシスにふさわしい。
