東京駅に隣接する大丸東京の10階に、1860年に創業した京都祇園に本店を置く「祇園辻利」が展開する和カフェがあります。
何度もこのフロアを訪れていたのに、宝飾売り場の八重洲側にこんな素敵なお店があることに気がついていませんでした。
平日の11:30頃訪れました。
八重洲や銀座の街並みが一望できるカウンター席と沢山のテーブル席が用意されていて、お店の入り口からは想像できないくらい店内は広かったです。
こちらでスイーツを食べてから、他で昼食を軽くと思っていたのですが、メニューを見ると温かい抹茶そばとパフェのセットが用意されていたので『茶々セット』を頂きました。
「抹茶そば」
京都らしく、薄く透き通っている色にも関わらず旨みがたっぷりの出汁が美味しい。
また抹茶がたっぷりと練り込まれてたので、さすがにつるつるとした喉越しはなくなっていましたが、口の中には濃厚な抹茶の風味広がるお蕎麦になっていました。
トッピングは、かまぼこ、九条ねぎ、とろろ昆布でしたが、特にとろろ昆布との相性がよく美味しかったです。
「宇治パフェ」
濃厚な抹茶のアイスから始まり、抹茶ホイップクリームや抹茶ゼリーが、ふんだん盛られた抹茶を堪能できるパフェです。
濃厚な抹茶のアイスは時折見かけるのでそれほど珍しいのもではないのですが、こちらのアイスは風味が抜群に良かったです。
特に抹茶のゼリーは、口に含んだ瞬間ゼリーがほどけ濃厚な抹茶の風味が口内に広がり秀逸です。
