本日のランチは東京駅八重洲口を出た、さくら通り沿いにある「スクインビット・ソイ・トンロー」さんを訪問。こちらは美味しいタイ料理が頂けるお気に入りのお店。ランチメニューから「ガパオとマッサマンカレー」を注文する。
配膳されてから、先ずはマッサンマンカレーを一口。辛さはほとんどなく、でもスパイスの良い香り、そしてピーナッツやココナッツミルクのコクが効いたマイルドなカレー。鶏肉、ジャガイモがまた食べ応えがある美味しいカレー。
一方、ガパオは結構ピリッとした刺激的な辛さがある。バジルやナンプラーの良い香りにゴロゴロ入った挽肉。これは飯をあおる。留学していた時のタイ人の友人にタイ料理は混ぜると美味しいと教わったので、二つを混ぜるとこれまた美味！
こちらのお店、女性陣にとても人気があり、ランチタイムは8割ぐらいが女性陣だった。ホールや厨房の方はみんなタイの人で、東京にいながらこんな美味しいタイ料理が頂けるのは嬉しい限り。またの訪問が楽しみである。
