Vegetable dining located in Palace Building B1 in Otemachi. For lunch, I heard that it would be a restaurant specializing in chilled Chinese food, so I decided to go there before it gets cold. Entered the store after 13:00 on weekdays. I thought it was only female customers, but the ratio was about 50-50. On the table are cold barley tea, an apron, and paper napkins. The aisles inside the store seem a bit cramped, but there are private and semi-private rooms as well. For lunch, only ``hiyashi chuka (¥1100)'' is available. You can choose from 5 types of noodles and 6 types of homemade sauce. For the noodles, choose "flat noodles" and for the sauce, choose "mellow sesame sauce." Since medium and large servings of noodles were free, I ordered the "large serving". We arrived after about 8 minutes of waiting. The noodles are in the center of the plate, and there are about 14 types of toppings around the edges. First, take a bite of noodles. Made by Hayashi Seimenjo, it is thoroughly chilled and has a chewy texture. It has a hard, rubbery feel, but goes well with chilled Chinese noodles. The sesame sauce has the texture of ground sesame, but is moderately mild. The flat noodles are a bit thin, so the spoon that comes with them comes in handy. It's a good idea to place the plate on the edge of the tray and make it diagonal. The toppings include cucumbers, tomatoes, leafy vegetables such as sunny lettuce, and wooden ears. I guess it's a shame that it didn't leave a particularly strong impression on me and I didn't get the impression that it would be better at night. A strategy is required to decide whether to eat them mixed together or in combination with each other. First of all, I attacked the leafy vegetables zone, followed by meat, and finished with pickled ginger. The mustard that was added to the rim was a nice spicy accent. It's refreshing to eat, has a good texture, and is very satisfying. It was a lunch that I would like to visit again in hotter weather.
