Located in Restaurants area on the 5th floor of the KITTE building at the west exit of Tokyo Station, this is a restaurant where you can enjoy Shinshu soba noodles with sake as a meal or dining experience. It's a small restaurant with a few tables for two and four people, and no counter seats. The space has a warm yet stylish atmosphere with warm-colored lighting, and a lively space with wooden tables. They have both cold soba and hot soba, as well as rice bowl sets, so it's perfect for a meal. There are a variety of dishes from Nagano Prefecture, including horse sashimi, yams, and sanzokuyaki (fried chicken), as well as sake, soba shochu, and beer. ●Seiro soba and Shinshu salmon bowl (1,500 yen including tax) Thin Sarashina soba noodles served in a bamboo steamer. Although hard, the soba noodles have just the right amount of elasticity and can be easily sliced, giving you the comfort of eating them smoothly. The unique aroma of stone-ground soba stands out, and the old-fashioned flavor is authentic and robust, just like the real thing. There's a surprisingly good amount, so if you get the mini bowl that comes with the set, you'll be satisfied and still have a nice aftertaste. The set also includes yam rice, but this time I chose the Shinshu Salmon Bowl, which has 4 slices of salmon in a mini-sized bowl. The salmon tastes great on top of warm rice, and the rice is even more delicious when topped with soy sauce. The soba soup has just the right amount of spiciness and strength, and the relaxing feel of the sobayu is also nice. I think it's best to come in a group of 2 to 4 people and enjoy the soba set with alcohol.
