東京駅の八重洲北口のグランスタにあるとんかつ店。
リニューアル前の旧キッチンストリートの時代から残る数少ないお店で
昼時には行列のできる人気店です。
平日昼では、開店前から行列ができる人気で中々時間が取れないので、
夜に訪問したら、すんなり入れました。
木目調のとんかつ店らしいお店で、混んでいながらも店員さんの案内が丁寧で的確で好感が持てます。
メニューは、幾つかありますが、気分的に
【ロースかつ丼】１２８０円
にして、厨房の方も丁寧に説明しながら、おしんこやみそ汁を出してくださり１０分程で着丼しました。
結構な厚みのロースで、カツはしっかり煮込まれてサクサク感はありませんが、
甘さを抑えた辛めの出汁と玉子のまろやかさがしっかり衣に浸み込みおいしいカツ煮の味です。
豚ロース自体は、脂身と赤身のバランスが良く、脂の甘味と口の中で溶ける食感、赤身の噛み応えと旨みが
一体となって楽しめ、ご飯が進みます。
決して安くはないですが、この場所で、この味とサービスレベルを維持できているからこそ、
長年この場所で営業できている証ですね。
またトンカツ気分の時に伺いたいと思います。
