平日の21時30分過ぎに１人で入店しました。
テーブル席は、既に宴会のお客様で賑わっていました。カウンター席が４~５席ほどありましたので、カウンター席に座りました。
先ず、お通しが運ばれてきました。
何と、ガラス製の小鉢に、桜色をした生姜の甘酢漬け、その上に胡瓜のスライスが4枚ほど乗っていました。寿司屋で供されるいわゆるガリです。
ガリと言えば和食で供されるものだと思っていたので、ちょっと驚きました。ただ、疲れていたこともあり、程良い甘酸っぱさで、口の中がサッパリと中和され、美味しく味わえました。夏はこれもアリだと思いました。
飲物は、「ガブ飲みワイン」（1,200円）を注文しました。1時間でワインが飲み放題というものです。
スパークリングワインの他、赤白あわせて10種類近いワインのボトルが、氷を張った樽の中に入れられていました。
１時間で全部制覇するお客様もいらっしゃるそうですが、１本１本のワインが美味し、味わって飲みましたので、残念ながら４~５種類といったところでした。でも、十分に堪能できました。
この飲み放題は、店員さんにワインの好みを聴かれたのでお伝えしたところ、お勧めのワインを幾つかご紹介いただきました。お手隙の時だけかもしれませんが、何を飲めばいいか迷っている時には、とてもありがたいサービスだと思いました。
先ず、スパークリングワインを飲みました。最初の一杯ということで、サッパリと飲むことができ、疲れが癒されました。
白色ワインからは、「MONTE BELLO TREBBIANO DEL RUBICONE」（モンテベッロ・トレッビアーノ・デル・ルビコーネ）を選んで飲みました。イタリア産トレッビアーノ品種で、爽やかかつスッキリとした味わいでした。
赤ワインからは、「MONTE BELLO SANGIOVESE DEL RUBICONE」（モンテベッロ・サンジョヴェーゼ・デル・ルビコーネ）を飲みました。イタリア産サンジョヴェーゼ品種で、程良い苦みがあり、肉料理との相性が良く、甘いワインが苦手な人でも手軽に楽しめる味だと思いました。
他に、「VALDEPENAS MONTECRUZ」（モンテクルーズ）も飲みました。スペイン産テンプラニーリョ品種の赤ワインで、美味しかったです。
「イワシの酢づけ」（520円）は、酢漬けされたイワシ１尾ほどが１口大に切られたものに、香味野菜がふんだんに盛られており、サッパリといただけました。酸味と甘味のバランスが丁度良いと感じました。
「レバ盛り」（980円）は、クセのない鶏肉のレバ肉が香り高い油と胡椒で味付けされており、臭みが全くなく、付け合せの細葱と一緒に食べたら、深い味わいを楽しめました。
「豚肉肩ロースのコンフィ」（880円）は、程良く焼き目が付いた豚肉に、洋辛子と細切り人参が添えられていました。粒の白と黒の胡椒が利いていて、くどくなく食べられました。赤ワインとの愛称はバッチリで、最後まで美味しくいただけました。
おひとり様ということで、おひとり様向けのメニューを幾つか提案していただけました。こういうところもありがたく思う点でした。店員さんのご対応も良く、楽しい１時間を過ごしました。
たくさん飲んでたくさん食べてお腹が一杯になった割には、お手軽な価格でした。改めて「バル」というものは、気軽さが一番だと思いました。十分に満足できました。
