I had a meeting around noon, so I had to eat lunch in about 20 minutes and come back. I went down to the lobby to grab a quick Stand-up Soba restaurant, and when I went outside, the nearest craft beer market was empty, so I popped inside. The main dish for lunch is the salad bar set, which is a combination of salad and main dish, but the individual items also include curry, taco rice, and chicken over rice, so I ordered chicken over rice at the counter seat. It comes with a soup bar, so when I went to pick it up, there were two types: egg soup and onion consomme. I put some onion consommé soup in a cup and drank it, and after a while the chicken over rice was ready. The basic style of chicken over rice is rice cooked with turmeric and saffron, topped with plenty of chicken seasoned with various spices, and in New York, it is common to order it from a food stall and takeaway. Apparently, this is a menu often seen at cafe meals in Japan. It's topped with a tangy chili sauce, which makes it even more delicious. I finished eating quickly and was able to return to the office after only 15 minutes.
