大手町フィナンシャルシティの地下に入っている店は、さすがに個人経営の店は無いにしても、全国展開しているチェーン店とは異なり、ある程度良心に基づいて少数絞って展開する店が多いことに気が付き、折角だからしらみつぶしに行ってみるか、という気になっている今日この頃。
で、こちらの店。前を何度か通りがかり、気にはなっていたのだが、ここに到ってようやく行く機会を得られた次第。
メニューを眺めてみると、鶏料理で徹底して通している。から揚げと、親子丼が中心なのか…と思って色々目移りし、〈ねぎまみれ鶏唐定食〉なんてものにもガンガン惹かれながら、最終的に選んだのは昼のカンバン的な〈をどり盛り定食〉の12個。これだけ「胸肉」を強調しているあたり、他のはモモなんだろうとか、恐らく安くボリュームを出そうとすると胸肉なんだろうな、とか、そういうのは頭の片隅を掠めつつも、一度はこれで勝負してみようと割り切る。
さて、到着した〈をどり盛り定食〉は、さすがに盛り方がゴツイ。そして、マヨネーズがいい具合に胸肉の脂の少なさを補ってくれるし、そもそもこういう店ではパサついた仕上がりになりがちな胸肉のから揚げを、しっとりした部分を残したいい具合の揚げ方で仕上げていて、これは中々。960円という価格まで考えれば、質量ともに十分な仕上がりと言えるだろう。
そうは言っても、やはりモモ肉のジューシーさを求めてしまうのは、偽らざるところなのだが。
一度経験したということで、次回は〈ねぎまみれ〉を試してみるかな。
